Long week and long weekend

Long week since I worked on the last weekend. When I work on weekends, a work week feels so long. Especially, I was facilitating a workshop this time on a new project that I have become a focal person for. It is really challenging, as it is a new area of work, new modality and multiple sectors are involved. We are designing the project really from scratch. There is a challenge as well as joy in developing and creating something. I will be going on a week long mission at the end of November to see the results or outputs of 10 days of training to the team as well as developing various guidelines and lots of thinking and discussions.

As for my immediate future, there is no news yet. It is going to be decided at the last minute. Story of my life... At least, I am advocating on my behalf, which I am not so good at but trying hard this time. So, to compensate the unknown and uncertainty, I am already planning a vacation for the new year.... Is it crazy? Maybe particularly I don't know if I will be jobless or not, but I can focus on what I have control over.

今週は長い！週末に働くと週がすごく長く感じてしまう。新しく担当になったプロジェクト。最初はややこしくて、新しくて、何もかも一から決めなきゃいけなくて、私も初めての経験ばかりでどうして私がやらないといけないの？と思っていたけど、 段々とおもしろくなってきた。昨日はプロジェクトのガイドラインを書いて、同僚と話し合い。ゼロから何かを作り上げることの面白さを久しぶりに感じた。１１月の末には、この準備が実際は現場でどうなるのかを見る為に、モニタリングで山の方の（到着までに３日も要する！）村に行ってきます。ハードコアな出張になりそうなので、怖さ半分好奇心半分かな。寝袋で学校の教室の床で寝るみたいな感じです。

今週は長いけど、連休で週末が長いので嬉しい。 明日働いたら、金曜日からお休み。この国の一大、湖のリゾート地（そんなに大したことないけど）に行ってきます。のんびりしよっと。
