Skating

I normally have very exotic photos from tropics, but in a way this is also exotic. After living in Ottawa for almost two years, I finally went to skate on the Rideau Canal. Now, it's an UNESCO world heritage site, though it has lost the status of "world longest skating rink". It's a beautiful stretch of about 6 kilometers.

I hadn't skated for many years, and it's not like I can skate anyways. So, J’étais fier de moi! I went with colleagues from work, and it was so much fun! It was even more fun that I didn't fall!! I think I will buy a pair of skate and practice, so I can be close to a proper Ottawanian.

オタワにて2度目の冬にして初めて運河でスケートをしました。そろそろでほとんど滑ったとは言えないかもしれないけど。Here is the proof!　　職場の同僚の女の子達と行って楽しかった。 1時間ちょっと滑っただけなのに、緊張で肩がガチガチ手も（冷）汗だらけ。帰りにベジタリアンレストランでディナー。ラザニアとかサラダをたっぷり食べてデザートにチーズケーキ。運動？の後には腹ごしらえに限る！
